Elizabeth Hammett joined TotE in November of 2007. She is also
currently a producer
for Small Pond Entertainment, another nonprofit theatre company.
Elizabeth
began her theatrical career as an actor, and is continuing to pursue
that
passion. She has two independent films in the works, and will be
performing
in "The Man Who Had All the Luck" in June. As her "money job,"
Elizabeth
works as a tutor and teaching artist. She tutors test prep for high
school
and college entrance exams. She also works with elementary and middle
school
students in the south Bronx, mostly in Character Education and Violence
Prevention programs that use drama as a tool to explore issues
important to
kids. During the summer, Elizabeth is a counselor at Acting Manitou in
the
backwoods of Maine.
